Oscars Friday #4- Room

It tackles a really disturbing yet powerful story in the best possible way. The movie establishes a strong connection between the audience and the protagonists. You hope for their success, smile and cry with them and this would not have been possible without that terrific piece of acting. The script is simple, strong and focused; with a really great direction and acting to support it. Jacob Tremblay and Brie Larson were spectacular. Without them, I don’t think the movie could have been this good.

Oscar Verdict- From direction, acting to screenplay, this movie has everything to make it the Best Picture this year. It’s just that I have a gut feeling that it won’t. Brie Larson will most probably win the Best Actress.
