The Machinist

Before talking about the movie, I must say that Christian Bale has done an incredible job. He lost a whopping 63 pounds for this movie. Below is a glimpse of Bale from the movie.

And he only had a few months after this movie to prepare for his role as Batman in Batman Begins. Here is an interesting read for those who are intrigued by his weight loss..Bale in ‘The Machinist’

Christian Bale takes this movie to a whole another level. His powerful performance was backed by an equally powerful screenplay and choreography. It was a true mind boggler. As the movie progresses, there are many twists, and many events demand an explanation. But then all of a sudden…..BANG!! It all comes together. Just like the pieces of a puzzle. The director did a pretty amazing job of keeping the viewers on the edge and still maintaining the flow of the movie.

The movie is a treat for all the movie lovers who like their minds being blown away. The movie can be a little (just a little bit) disturbing at times.

IMDb-“An industrial worker who hasn’t slept in a year begins to doubt his own sanity.”
