It was an emotionally enriching experience, towards the dull side though. The movie depicts three different stories going on at different places and at different times. You do get to know that these are related but they don’t connect until the very end. But when they connect, it is beautiful. I totally loved the concept.
It is fairly good combination of screenplay, direction and acting. The movie features an ensemble cast of Meryl Streep, Nicole Kidman, Julianne Moore and Ed Harris. Without such a cast, it could’ve easily been a failed attempt. The movie demands a good level of acting, you’ll realize this when you watch it.
This movie will NOT make you feel good. So if you’re looking for something to uplift your mood, please refrain from watching this movie. On the other hand, if you’re looking for some good (and intense) drama and acting, this movie is perfect for you.
IMDb-“The story of how the novel “Mrs. Dalloway” affects three generations of women, all of whom, in one way or another, have had to deal with suicide in their lives.”
