Match Point

Another typical Woody Allen drama!!

I don’t have much to say about the movie. Like many of his movies, this one also explores the complexity and nuances of human interactions. It seems like Allen has this wisdom of human behaviour, how people think and react. He takes the complexity of human emotions and reduces it to a simple enough idea that can connect with the audience. Apart from the direction, I think the actors were pretty good too.

To put it simply, this movie explores the ‘Love vs Lust’ dilemma. Honestly, I lack the experience to comment on the accuracy of the description, but it seemed pretty good to me. If you’ve watched it, I would love to hear your thoughts.

IMDb-“At a turning point in his life, a former tennis pro falls for an actress who happens to be dating his friend and soon-to-be brother-in-law.”
